Dear ECTs, mentors and Induction Tutors,

We hope that you have all had a happy and successful  week in school. 

Please find attached the bulletin for week 10,  w/b Monday 21st November 2022.   

Enclosed you will find all of the information required for the week ahead. Please note that there is no observation this week and a professional discussion will be the main focus for the mentor interaction.

Mentors, please find enclosed all of the log in details and dates for the upcoming mentor training sessions,  which focus on the precise actions section of the feedback model. This is practical and useful session which will allow you time to discuss your ECT’s target areas with other colleagues and how best to support their progress. Please log in for one of the six sessions being run over the week.

Induction Tutors, please find attached a copy of the cause for concern flow diagram which explains the Induction Tutor’s responsibilities are in the event of an ECT needing extra support or being at risk of not meeting expected standards at the end of term review point.

Please also see the message in the bulletin regarding the tracking of your ECT’s progress on Brightspace in preparation for their Progress Review.

We would be grateful if all Induction Tutors in schools could kindly arrange to complete and return the attached Programme Agreement to Katherine Powlson (k.powlson@xaviercet.org.uk) , if they have not already done so.
