Change of ECT, mentor or induction tutor
Changes are regularly happening in schools which can have an impact of the communication you receive from the Xavier team and your Brightspace access.
The following steps will help you to help make changes smoothly.
- For any changes to your programme members please complete this form so that we can keep our records up to date.
- Update the DfE portal of any programme member changes. For assistance please see https://manage-training-for-early-career-teachers.education.gov.uk/. If you experience any issues with the DfE portal you will need to contact them directly on: continuing-professional-development@digital.education.gov.uk. Advise your replacement/new programme members to look for their Brightspace log in from Teach First. This will be an email from my.teachfirst@teachfirst.org.uk.
- Update ECT Manager with the change in programme members. If your ECT is leaving please change the status on ECT manager to resigned and complete an interim assessment. If your ECT is off sick for more than 30 days or is going on maternity leave please advise Sophie Hunter on s.hunter@xaviercet.org.uk and please include the start date of absence.
