Dear Year 1 ECTs, mentors and induction tutors,
It is difficult to believe that July is already upon us! We hope that you are enjoying the second half of the summer term and are no doubt looking forward to the summer break. Please find attached your Week 36 bulletin, for the week commencing 3rd July.
A number of you have been in contact with regard to dates etc for next year. As explained in the bulletin, we will send out a transition bulletin on Thursday 13th July with all the information for next year, including
- what the Year 2 programme will look like
- where, when and how to access the Year 2 induction training
- all the seminar details for 2023-24.
Our apologies that this is coming out later than we might have liked, but we are not receiving the final details of the 2023-24 programme from Teach First until 6th July.
Induction tutors: If you need any help or support with end-of-term progress reviews and/or assessments, please do not hesitate to contact either Sophie Hunter (s.hunter@xaviercet.org.uk) or Alison Maingard (a.maingard@xaviercet.org.uk), who will be pleased to answer any questions you may have. Please also note that the window for formally registering ECTs who will be new in September is now open. We will be emailing all schools directly with full details of the registration process, but you can find a link to the Xavier registration form in the bulletin. ECTs who are currently in Year 1 do not need to be registered again. They will simply move into the Year 2 cohort automatically.
