Dear ECTs, mentors and induction tutors,

Please find attached the weekly bulletin for the week commencing the 25^th September for both Year 1 and Year 2 ECTs, mentors and induction leads, which relates to week 4 of the academic year.  As mentioned last week, rather than sending out separate Year 1 and Year 2 bulletins, in an attempt to avoid mentors and induction tutors having to read both, we are sending out a single, combined bulletin each week. 

We have also attached copies of the Mentor and Induction Tutor Checklists which we hope will help you with your roles.

Some frequent queries this week:

Brightspace: Some ECTs, and mentors will not have Brightspace access yet. This may be due to changes in roles or registration but please do not worry, all content has been added our Secure Member Area Xavier Teaching School Hub - Brightspace Content (xaviercet.org.uk) to read so you can keep on top of your self study.  

Please note that Brightspace logins are issued by Teach First and not by Xavier so the quickest way to resolve issues with access or missing content is to contact them directly using the Teach First Contact Us link. 

If your role has changed in school and you are no longer an active programme member (mentor or induction tutor) for the Early Career Framework – 2023/24 please unsubscribe here to no longer receive our bulletins.

Last week we experienced a large number of bounce backs from our bulletin email. We have checked all emails are correct and been in contact with you to check these accordingly. If induction tutors could check all programme members are receiving this communication and if not forward it accordingly that would be greatly appreciated.
