Dear all,

We hope that you have all had a happy and successful few weeks in school.  It has certainly been as busy as ever!    We hope that you have enjoyed the greater freedom that Development Cycles offer and that you have found the subject- and/or phase-specific seminars both helpful and enjoyable. 

Please find attached the bulletin for Development Cycle 2, which starts on Monday 7^th November 2022.   Bulletins will continue to come out to you on a half-termly basis, to reflect the Development Cycle structure of the Year 2 programme.  However, please do look out for occasional emails from the Xavier Teaching School Hub email account between bulletins.  In the bulletin you will find details of the new password-protected section we have set up for you on our website (https://tshub.xaviercet.org.uk/) – please do take a look!

Also attached are copies of the self-reflection documents which ECTs need to complete prior to either their end of term Progress Review or Formal Assessment in December.  A copy of the completed self-reflection form should be given to the Tutor within your school who has been assigned to carry out the Progress Review/Assessment.

• ECTs who started in January 2022 will have their End-of-Year-1 Formal Assessment in December, so should complete the attached January starters self-reflection form.
• All other ECTs will have a Progress Review in December, so should complete the usual Progress review ECT self-reflection form, also attached.

For those ECTs currently unable to access the Year 2 materials on Brightspace, please find attached a copy of the Brightspace content for Development Cycle 2. 

We would be grateful if the Induction Tutors in schools who are new to Xavier this year could kindly arrange to complete and return the attached Programme Agreement to Katherine Powlson (k.powlson@xaviercet.org.uk) , if they have not already done so.
