Dear Year 1 ECTs, mentors and induction tutors,

Please find attached the bulletin for the w/b Monday 28th November 2022.   

Enclosed you will find all of the information required for the next few weeks and the proformas required for the Progress Reviews for the end of this term.

Mentors, please find enclosed the last date and log in details for mentor training if you have not managed to attend this week. You will also find attached the ECT’s self-reflection form for their Progress Review which you will need to discuss with them as part of your mentor meeting this week. A reminder that as a mentor you support with this process of assessment, the induction tutor is responsible for leading it.

The mentor familiarisation video (linked in bulletin) is a particularly useful one which focuses on ‘helping pupils to remember’ which offers some interesting discussions points for you this week.

Induction Tutors, please find attached the self-reflection document for your ECT’s Progress Review. The process was explained in detail at the last induction tutor training and please see the date of our next induction tutor training in the bulletin attached. All documents for induction tutors can be found on the ‘Resources’ section of ECT Manager or on our website Xavier Teaching School Hub - Home (xaviercet.org.uk) in the secure area.
